Smithville Irish Festival

This annual Celtic heritage celebration is among the most popular and well-attended Irish festivals in the Northeastern United States.

The Smithville Irish Festival had a rough time with its self-built and self-maintained Flash website, created in 2014. The site faced several challenges, particularly its need for mobile-friendliness, making it obsolete from the outset.

In 2016, they approached me to redesign their website. Together, we embarked on a journey to create a user-friendly website that not only made the festival more accessible but also streamlined the vendor registration process and elevated the event's promotion.

Vendor Management:

Streamlining Processes

My involvement with the Smithville Irish Festival ensures that the website serves as a year-round nexus, uniting organizers, vendors, and visitors.

During winter, I facilitate the online vendor application process, allowing festival administrators to manage organization and selection efficiently.

Festival Fervor:

Seasonal Updates

As the festival season nears, I revitalize the website with the latest vendor and entertainment lineups and other essential information for visitors. This update transforms the website into a dynamic showcase, providing attendees with comprehensive details to plan their visit and immerse themselves fully in the festival experience.

Capturing the Craic:

Visual Storytelling

Beyond the digital realm, my contributions to the Smithville Irish Festival have extended to capturing the event's energy through videos and photos. These visuals have been instrumental in promoting the festival on social media platforms.

The festival's constant evolution mirrors the evolving needs of its digital presence. My goal has been to encapsulate the vibrancy of this celebration online, ensuring the festival's legacy continues to connect folks to the rich tapestry of Irish heritage.
